Pin Trading

Pin trading is a fun activity available at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. With health and safety protocols in place, pin trading looks a little different than it has in the past. Cast Members no longer walk around with pin lanyards actively trading pins with guests. Instead, guests will find pin trading stations throughout the parks. These pin trading stations might have a pin trading board or perhaps a pin trading mystery box.

With a pin trading board, guests simply search the trading board for the Disney pin they would like to trade. The cast member will remove their desired pin from the board and give it to the guest in exchange for the guest’s Disney pin.

With a pin trading mystery box, guests can select a drawer from the pin box numbered 1-24. The cast member will open the drawer and present the guest with their mystery pin in exchange for the guest’s Disney pin.

Guests can make up to 2 exchanges per pin trading location.

Disneyland Guests - When you book a vacation package through me, you will receive a link for “Magical Extras” about 4 days before you travel. Included in your Magical Extras is a barcode that you can use to redeem a free pin and lanyard once you are in the parks. You can choose to trade the free pin for another pin at any of the pin trading locations throughout the park. Welcome to the world of Disney Pin Trading!
