What are Hidden Mickeys you ask? Hidden Mickeys are images of Mickey Mouse that are discretely integrated into the design of an attraction or location in a Disney theme park, Disney Resort property, Disney movie or other Disney product. Often times, Hidden Mickeys take the form of one large circle with two smaller circles on top. However, Hidden Mickeys can take on a variety of shapes, sizes and be constructed from a variety of different materials. Searching for Hidden Mickeys is a popular activity for guests and the fun has quite a large following. Just google "Hidden Mickeys" and you will see what I mean. There is rumored to be more than 1000 Hidden Mickeys in Walt Disney World and several hundred in the Disneyland Resort area. However, people believe that many more are actually in existence. There are even books you can purchase to help you find the Hidden Mickeys in Disneyland, Walt Disney World and on the Disney Cruise Ships. Searching for Hidden Mickeys can be a fun way to pass time waiting in ride queues as well.
Next time you are in the parks, see if you can find my favorite Hidden Mickey. It is located in the ballroom scene of the Haunted Mansion at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
